Hallelujah

Igår såg jag och Åsa Så ska det låta. När Alexander Rybak började sjunga på låten Hallelujah, ville jag bara skrika "neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeej". Jag var nämligen rädd att han skulle förstöra en av mina absoluta favoritlåtar. Nu lyckades han någorlunda med sin tolkning.

Covers. I bästa fall bättre än originalet, i värsta fall så usla att man aldrig kan lyssna på låten igen. På Spotify har jag fått fram följande lista på artister som tolkar Hallelujah.

Jag anser att Jeff Buckleys tolkning av låten är bättre än originalet. Ja, till och med Rufus Wainwrights tolkning är bättre än originalet (se ovan, då den inte finns med på Spotify). Sedan finns det en drös som snarare saboterar låten. Bon Jovi till exempel. Ebba Forsberg däremot gör en excellent svensk tolkning av Cohens låt.

Nu ska jag lyssna på ytterligare en tolkning, som jag anser är bättre än originalet. Nej, förresten de är lika bra!

Nu har jag gjort en spellista på Spotify med originalversionen av Hallelujah och de covers som finns på Spotify. Min favorit är nog Jeff Buckleys eller är det måhända Rufus Wainwrights version? Vilken är din?
